NOGI-jinja Shrine is a lush green shrine located in the heart of Tokyo. It is a 15m walk from Exit 1 of Nogizaka Station on the subway. We accept prayers, exorcisms, and prayers for safe childbirth 365 days a year.
This shrine protects the Imperial Palace and the eastern capital. It has been revered as the guardian deity of Edo Castle and the local deity of the Tokugawa Shogunate. Every year around June 15th, the Sanno Festival, known as one of the three major festivals of Edo, is held here.

Built as the Crown Prince's Palace in 1909, it is Japan's only palace building in the Neo-Baroque style. It is a building that brought together the combined efforts of Japan's architecture, arts and crafts world at the time, and represents the pinnacle of authentic modern Western-style architecture in the Meiji period.
It goes without saying that this is one of Tokyo's most popular tourist attractions. From the main observation deck at 150m above ground and the special observation deck at 250m, you can see Tokyo in all directions: north, south, east and west.
