Notice of Kyoto City Accommodation Tax Revision from Sunday, March 1, 2026

Thank you for your continued patronage of GRANBELL HOTEL KYOTO Annex hanareya.

Due to the revision of the Kyoto City Accommodation Tax Ordinance, the accommodation tax rate will change as follows from Sunday, March 1, 2026.
This tax rate will be applied to stays from Sunday, March 1, 2026.

100,000 yen or more	1,000 yen	10,000 yen

・Accommodation tax is to be paid at check-in, separate from the accommodation fee.
- Tax exemptions may be available if certain requirements are met, such as for school trips and other school events.
